Title IX Training

Colleagues:

As you are aware, any individual that works with (including Research Corp, Mountaineer Temps, Student Workers, and   County Staff) or volunteers with WVU Extension in WVU Sponsored programs, must complete Title IX training.  To help achieve this objective we will be offering an in person and on line Title IX training at WVU Jackson’s Mill on Monday, March 13th from 10am- 12pm.  Additionally, lunch will be provided for all attending.  If you cannot attend in person, you are welcome to participate in the live stream at the same time.  Please use the registration link below for in person and on line attendance.  All attendees must use the link below in order to receive credit for the training.  If you need accommodations the night before at Jackson’s Mill please make these reservations directly by calling 304-269-5100.  Cost for lodging will be on your own.

March 13, 2017 Title IX Training Registration

Anyone, either volunteer or paid employee can attend this training.  If you are attending on line, you will be sent the link for the live stream before the sessions begins.
Since the training is mandated, you be will be provided a method to verify your attendance and the attendance of those volunteering in your programs.

Additional trainings are planned and I will be sending those dates in a separate email.  If you attended the training at camping in service, or have attended one of the events with the DEI trainers, you do not have to attend again.
